Family-run Italian label building technical frames with watch-crown hardware.
The story
Jeremy Baines started TAVAT in 2010 to make eyewear whose quality is felt as much as seen, with a technical imprint the company calls the TAVAT Touch. The family business is based in the foothills of the Dolomites. It produces in small batches with independent family-run factories in Italy's northeast, a region the brand calls the birthplace of eyewear. Its SoupCan concept, shown at MIDO in 2015, became its signature: goggle-inspired frames with a sandwich construction and a rim-lock.
