Sculpted, colour-layered Italian acetate from a product designer near Treviso.

The story

After years designing for large corporate clients, Oliviero Zanon wanted a business where he could guide a product from idea to finished piece and know the people who wear it. He co-founded RES/REI in 2011 in the countryside outside Treviso. Its first acetate collection named each frame after a Roman emperor (Adriano was among the first) and balanced the weight so it rested more on the ears than the nose. The brand has since grown into themed families of sculptural, colour-layered frames made with Veneto artisans.
