Former Oliver Peoples leaders making logo-free, Japanese-handmade LA eyewear.
Barton and Perreira worked together for years at Oliver Peoples. After Luxottica acquired that label, they decided to build an independent brand rather than make licensed product. Barton, then still CEO of Oliver Peoples, pitched the idea to Perreira in 2006, and Barton Perreira launched in Los Angeles in 2007.

The 12th design in the brand's James Bond partnership takes its cue from the alpine scenes of A View to a Kill. It pairs a hand-finished acetate aviator-style front with engraved titanium temples, made in Japan in three limited colourways.
